Is the Troubled Economy affecting Bill Collectors?

Have any of you that gather money all day or who own debt collection agencies been affected by the subprime mortgage defaults and the impending recession?

For example, how do your receivables or accounts place for collection compare to

the same moment last year?

Do you think the “Project Lifeline” that the Bush administration is promoting will help your agencies or your debtors?
