Tougher Collections in 2008?

As Washington, the economists and the politician wannabe’s debate whether we are in a recession, many are taking steps to deal with the turmoil and aftermath a recession will bring.

Falling house prices, tightening credit, the stock market, widespread consumer anxiety, a poor holiday season, gas prices, oil prices, job loss, food prices, need we say more?

Collectors will have many accounts placed with their agencies as we move forward but how easy will it be to gather on those

accounts with all of the other factors coming into play when a consumer must decide whether they should pay $25 on their detail with the collection agency or put food on the table or gas in the car so they can get to work, or have heat for their family?

How will you deal with that problem?

What are you doing now to prepare for that?
