Going on vacation? You might want to have a Visa in your wallet.

For the tenth year in a row, Visa was named the World’s Leading Credit Card at the prestigious World Travel Awards ceremony. The winner was determined by a worldwide online poll that asked travel agencies and front-line travel agents to choose the best credit card. Thanks to its scope of distribution, wide acceptance, and overall service, Visa took the prize, beating out competitors such as MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and others.

More than 167,000 professionals in 160 countries cast their

votes. Graham Cooke, president and founder of the World Travel Awards, was particularly impressed with Visa’s continual ability to distinguish itself by instance. The credit card industry is growing more competitive, but Cooke feels that Visa has excelled at staying ahead of the competition.

Visa Destinations, the travel portal which provides Visa cardholders with retail offers from hundreds of merchants around the world, was cited as one of Visa’s many standout features. Complete info about the World Travel Awards is available at the website: www.WorldTravelAwards.com.
